Luis is the founding principal of TALLER. He has held influential positions at a number of internationally renowned architecture firms, including WE Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark, and RE X based in New York City. While at these firms he helped design a number of internationally renowned, award-winning projects, and his personal design work has also been exhibited galleries in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas and presented at the Venice Biennale. Luis has also held project management positions at high-profile real estate development firms, including Related California, where he was involved in overseeing all aspects of the development of over 500 multifamily units with a combined budget of over $120mm.
Luis is a California licensed architect (C37075). He holds a Master of Design Studies degree from Harvard University with a focus on Real Estate Development, earned with distinction, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree, earned with honors, from Cal Poly Pomona.
