Luis is the founding principal of TALLER. He has held influential positions at a number of internationally renowned architecture firms, including RE X based in New York City and WE Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has helped design a number of internationally renowned, award-winning projects, and his work has been exhibited galleries across the west coast and presented at the Venice Biennale. Luis has also held project management positions at high-profile real estate development firms, including Related California, where he was involved in overseeing all aspects of the development of over 500 multifamily units with a combined budget of over $120mm.
Luis is a California licensed architect (C37075). He holds a Master of Design Studies degree from Harvard University with a focus on Real Estate Development, earned with distinction, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree, earned with honors, from Cal Poly Pomona.
